Fantastic first time surfing experience
This was absolutely perfect for a first time, middle aged, surfer. The surfing coach Jack was super helpful and patient. Everything was clearly explained and he was very supportive after each attempt. Through his guidance I managed to stand up and surf after a few tries. The included videos are great and prove to my family and friends I really did surf! The beach is ideal, beautiful, quiet and ideal conditions for a novice. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience it was amazing and a holiday highlight.

I purchased a private lesson as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday. He found Jake to be a wonderful instructor! It was his first time surfing and Jake got him standing on the board and catching waves easily! Also, we both found Jake to be very friendly and fun while also being safety conscious. He was also kind and loaned me a beach chair to use while they surfed. Boyfriend had such a great time and we’ve enjoyed watching the videos that came with the lesson.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We've been to Hans Hedemann Surf School twice - once recently and once 2 years ago. That says a lot right there. We had such a good experience the first time that we were willing to pay for it a second time. The safety prep is done well and the instructors really stick with you out in the water. It's been a great experience overall.

Max was the epitome of “surf is life.” From start to finish, he was professional, patient, passionate, and genuinely invested in making the experience special. Most importantly, he was amazing with my 6-year-old daughter, Paisley. He knew exactly how to make her feel comfortable, encouraged her every step of the way, and turned her first surfing experience into something she’ll never forget. This ended up being one of the best memories of our daddy-daughter trip, and Max deserves a huge amount of credit for that. We came for a surf lesson and left with an experience we’ll talk about for years. P.S. — Do yourself a favor and add the drone video with his partner OG. The footage is absolutely incredible and captured moments we otherwise never would have had. Totally worth it! Thank you, Max and OG, for an unforgettable experience!

My family and I had the best morning surfing with Jake! Both my 6 year old and 1 year old loved it and felt comfortable surfing with Jake. I also borrowed a board so I could get out and watch them catch waves. Jake then helped me to feel confident catching some waves with both my children on the board and we all had so much fun! Thank you Jake!
