Jedi was super supportive and got me up on the surfboard in no time. I honestly didn't think it was possible due to issues with my knees. He was very patient with me and cheered me on every step of the way. It was an amazing experience and I learned so much about the geography of the ocean, the etiquette of surfing and most especially the Zen of being at one with the ocean. Thank you, Jedi!

I have never surfed before and truly had a blast! Dan was a phenomenal instructor and helped me feel comfortable and confident on the water. By the end of the lesson, I was surfing slightly bigger and faster waves! Kiki the photographer also captured exceptional photos during the lessons. We had a fantastic time with Hans Hedemann Surf! What stood out most was how seriously they take safety and professionalism — you can tell the instructors are well-trained and genuinely care about their students.My friend and I booked a semi-private lesson, and our instructor Peter was excellent — patient, calm, and full of helpful tips for beginners. He made us feel comfortable in the water while still pushing us to improve. Highly recommend this school if you’re thinking about trying surfing in Waikiki!The rashguard and reef shoes were included, which was a nice touch. We also got the photo package, and the shots turned out beautifully — great value and a wonderful way to remember the lesson.Will definitely come back next time we’re in Oahu. Windy weather messed with our scheduled lesson, but we managed to get three people foilboarding on a trip. What a blast! Steve, our instructor, was a professional parasailer in his previous life so he gives quick tips to help you get up on the board and enjoying your ride fast. My 15-year-old nephew deemed this the most fun he's ever had. He wanted to schedule another lesson for the next day. Steve is a joy to work with. This won't disappoint.

After a great transfer ride, we decided to use Victor again to take us hiking. It was incredible! I would HIGHLY recommend Victor for any tour, but the hiking tour has been the highlight of our trip. He is very knowledgeable about the island. Victor can tell you all the places to eat, drink, and explore. He took us for coffee and treats, three different spots, including hiking and cliff jumping. He was great with our two kids too! He even took pictures and videos for us. If you are looking for any type of tour while in Maui, this is the company to use.

Amazing Guide!
Victor is an awesome guy! We met him through Lyft and he gave us a lot of helpful information about Maui. He connected me with his colleague Mr Ford, let me just say, Mr Ford is the nicest person I have met in Maui. He prioritizes treating every traveler like they are family, and I definitely felt that. He is also very generous and considerate of others. He took amazing care of me and my mom. He took me up to the Nakalele Blow Hole, it was amazing!

Our instructor, Devon, and the rest of the staff was amazing!! He was incredibly kind and patient! We felt safe and had a great experience. We got awesome pictures taken by a photographer to have as a momento of our “ride”. We would highly recommend Sea Maui Surf!!!

I am older woman and first time surfer. Booked for one hour private lesson with Kahu surfing School. The instructor, Mr. Jameson did a great job teaching me the basics and getting me safely riding a bunch of waves and I was able to stand up. I really appreciated how friendly and accommodating he was. Thanks Jameson and Kahu Surfing school for creating memory for me to share it with my grandkids. My wife and I had an incredible first-time surfing experience thanks to our instructor, Moki. From the moment we hit the beach, Moki was supportive, energetic, respectful, and incredibly kind. He made sure that no matter what, we were able to get up and ride a wave—something we didn’t think would happen on our first try!Moki stayed by our side the entire session, pulling us out to the waves, checking in constantly for safety, and giving us clear, motivating guidance. With his help, both of us were able to stand up and catch waves multiple times, which made the whole experience unforgettable.Although our session started about 45 minutes later than originally scheduled, we quickly realized it was because Moki wanted us to have the best conditions possible—and he absolutely delivered. The wait was 100% worth it for the value and experience we received.We truly got our money’s worth and then some. We can’t recommend this surf school enough for first-time surfers. Ask for Moki—you won’t regret it!

Our 7 year old daughter did a surf lesson with Adam. Adam was great with her, he was patient and taught her basic surfing skills and also taught skills on how to paddle and make her way out through the surf. He allowed her time to rest and warm up when needed and then try again when she was ready. She managed to get up on the board a few times and had a great time and overall experience.
