This my first ever trip to Hawaii at 72 years young. My sister and I were this memory making trip. I was fortunate to have the front passenger seat, full front view. I saw so many amazing beautiful sites. Dom is an excellent guide. The wealth of knowledge of the hawaiian culture and island fascinated me. Mahalo Dom!

Yessssah we had John and he was so cool, I’m gonna tell all my friends and family about him. :) Be sure to check the weather 300 or so rainy days on the windward-side, and we were luck enough to get a beautiful and dry day. (Wet does mean more ferocious waterfalls) Jump into a waterfall, swim in it, or just adore the sites. Perfect for anyone who can generally walk, with only small patches of unevenness. I saw jumpers young and old most people will assist ya especially if you ask, cheering was encouraged and if you’re thinking about it DO IT, once in a lifetime for most. Views, turtles, waterfalls, local snacks, BANANA bread, coffee, ice cream, and more along the way. John again you crushed if you get a chance to ask for a guide ask for him.

Very qualified driver with a wealth of knowledge about Hawaii. This is a long day but well worth it. Can't imagine driving this road in a rental car.

Tristen was our tour guide on our trip to Hana and I can’t praise him enough. We felt like we were leaving family behind when our tour was over. We had a lovely time on this tour! Our tour guide Cory was kind, funny, and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Hawaiian history while seeing such beautiful views. Highly recommend doing a tour of the road to Hana, rather than driving it yourself - it really allows you to soak up every moment stress-free. Thank you so much Cory!

We did the Road to Hana tour in September 2026 and it didn’t disappoint. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us plenty of time to explore the black sand beach, waterfalls, etc. The drive is super windy with some blind hairpin turns, so I definitely recommend a tour for your first experience. Since someone else was driving both my husband and I could enjoy the views. Our guide would also stop along the way briefly for pictures of breathtaking scenery and views throughout the trip.

Lisa was our driver/guide and was great! She was very knowledgeable about the area and also the very winding narrow road on the Road to Hana. We had a great day seeing the beauty of this island.

The trip went off as detailed in the description. Our guide, Gaura, did an awesome job driving on the twisting road to Hana. She pointed out so many waterfalls and explained the various plant life.The stop at the bread stand was worth it and delicious. I recommend this company and guide.

We had a wonderful experience on the Haleakala Sunrise Tour! Seeing the sunrise from the top of Haleakala was absolutely beautiful and definitely a must-do activity while visiting Maui. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish.The one area we would suggest improving is the drop-off process at the end of the tour. We were one of the last groups picked up in the morning, so we expected that we might be among the first dropped off afterward. Instead, the van drove right past our resort and continued north to drop off other guests before eventually bringing us back. This added close to an extra hour to an already very early and long morning.Since our resort was directly along the route, it would have made much more sense to drop us and the other nearby guests off as the van passed by, especially since everyone else was staying farther north.Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and would absolutely recommend the Haleakala sunrise experience. We just hope the company will consider organizing the return drop-offs geographically so guests aren’t spending unnecessary extra time in the van after such an early start.

Travis was an incredible tour guide. In addition to knowing the road and each of its attractions like the back of his hand, we learned he was a certified lifeguard when he heroically saved a drowning woman’s life at the waterfall we stopped to swim at. We’re so grateful to have had him as our tour guide, the experience wouldn’t have been the same without him! The continental breakfast and hot lunch both exceeded our expectations. We also had lots of great opportunities to purchase gifts and treats along the way. Finally, we were very appreciative of Travis’s driving, which completely minimized the discomfort of the many turns and single lane bridges on the road. This tour will always be of our favorite memories on Maui!! - Young D

Lisa was hands down the best tour guide we have ever had. Full of energy from the start, she immediately treated us like ohana—her "kids." Throughout the tour, she shared incredible stories about Maui, the history of the island's unique trees, and local lore that kept everyone completely engaged. The culinary highlights were unforgettable: we tasted fresh strawberry guava straight off the tree, sampled different varieties of bananas, enjoyed local banana bread, and tasted chocolate straight from the field. It was obvious in everything she did that she genuinely wanted us to experience the very best of Maui. Lisa told us at the beginning of the tour that we were a family now, and we better act like it! She had a wonderful way of bringing everyone together to share and connect, and by the end of the day, we were genuinely sad to say goodbye to both her and our new friends. An absolute must-do experience!.
