What To Expect
Experience the magic of a Maui sunset sail aboard our spacious catamaran, ‘Alihilani. The name ‘Alihilani means “the place where the horizon meets the sea,” and there’s no better way to take it in than from the water.
Sail through the ‘au‘au Channel with breathtaking views of Maui, Lāna‘i, and Moloka‘i. Relax on the forward trampolines or in shaded cabin seating while our crew raises the sails and turns off the motors for a true performance sailing experience.
Your sunset sail includes appetizers and a full open bar with sparkling wine, white wine, local beer, and island-inspired cocktails.
From December through March, this trip doubles as a Maui whale watching sunset sail, offering the unforgettable chance to see humpback whales breaching, tail-slapping, and spouting in their natural habitat.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
