Wesley was the best guide across some of the roughest 22 mile an hour winds/waves! He ensured our safety from the point of instruction on land to the water station back at the store. Best tour guide ever and the experience so worthwhile!! If you want to see turtles, crabs, blow holes, and some awesome reef, this tour is for you!!

Best snorkeling tour ever! It was priceless to have a marine biologist and an experienced diver with us. We saw 3 types of dolphins, pigmy whales (even swam with them), turtles and many fishes. This experience will stay with us as a forever memory!

I had the most amazing private tour of Oʻahu with Elf, and I cannot recommend her enough. One of the things I loved most was that she allowed me to completely customize my day. I told her I wanted to get away from the typical tourist experience and see some of the places the locals love, and she absolutely delivered.Elf is a local and a body surfer, so she had so many wonderful stories and such a unique perspective on the island. She showed me places I never would have discovered on my own and made the entire day feel more like exploring Oʻahu with a local friend than taking a traditional tour.Her kindness really stood out to me too. I had a terrible sunburn from the day before, and Elf actually stopped at her surfers’ community spot and cut fresh aloe for me to put on my burns. It was such a simple but incredibly caring gesture, and it tells you exactly the kind of person she is.We visited a local shopping center off the beaten path and a wonderful coffee shop and artist colony in Waialua. We explored beautiful Haleʻiwa and the North Shore, and she took me to Waimea Valley to see a heiau. We then visited Puʻu O Mahuka Heiau, a very special place of worship with one of the most beautiful views. Being able to experience these places while learning about the island from someone who calls Oʻahu home made them even more meaningful.And then there was lunch! Elf took me to the food truck area in Kahuku, where we ate at Kalena’s Hut. The barbecue was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Hungry Man. You may not be able to finish it, but it is exceptional! We ate our lunch underneath a beautiful plumeria tree, which somehow made the whole experience even better. The pineapple pies made by his daughter were delicious, and Kalena himself was one of the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet. He was simply a joy.This is exactly what I was hoping for when I asked for a private tour. I didn’t just want to check places off a sightseeing list. I wanted to experience Oʻahu through the eyes of a local, discover places I wouldn’t necessarily find on my own, meet wonderful people, hear their stories, and come home with memories that felt personal.Elf gave me exactly that and so much more. If you want to see a different, more personal side of Oʻahu, I wholeheartedly recommend spending the day with her. It was one of those special days in Hawaii that I will remember forever.More than anything, Elf is truly a good soul and a beautiful person, inside and out. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine love for her island came through in everything she did. I feel incredibly fortunate that our paths crossed, and she will always be part of some of my favorite memories of Oʻahu. 🌺

I went as a boat rider and my two adult kids 27 and 24 went scuba diving. Nat is certified and for Nate it was his first time. The dive instructors were great. Their knowledge, expertise and care for the divers impressed me. I felt my two were safe as they jumped in the ocean. The store team was also helpful in answering questions and giving tips. Over all excellent experience. Now Nate wants to get certified and come back to do the ship wreck dive. Would highly recommend.

They are a small, family owned company. One boat, one captain, two guides for snorkeling, marine life spotting, answering questions. There were only 5 passengers on our tour (2 small groups) and we all agreed that we wanted to see whales even though it wasn’t whale season. We literally found sperm whales first thing when we reached the open ocean! We had an opportunity to swim with spotted dolphins and watch them from the water. We passed up reef snorkeling (it was two days post storm and the water was cloudy near shore) to watch spinner dolphins (so MANY little performing show offs!!) for a long time and then found some mating green sea turtles to cap off the trip. The Hawaiian snacks were so good that we went to the bakery to buy more on our way back to Honolulu. We took advantage of the offer to purchase their professional shots of the animals we saw (I take trash photos and was way too busy watching the whales to run back down for my phone) and they are really spectacular. Truly a wonderful tour and the highlight of our time on Oahu.

I went on this dive with my two teenagers, and all three of us are Advanced Open Water divers. We had a wonderful experience with Dive Oahu. Everything was very well organized and prepared, and the whole experience ran smoothly from the moment we arrived at the meeting point until we returned after the dive. Our trip was led by Adam on the boat and Matt, who guided the dive. Both were highly professional, while also being friendly, communicative, and attentive. The equipment was excellent, and they went out of their way to make both the preparation before the dive and packing up afterward as easy as possible for us. The dive sites were fantastic. We saw lots of sea turtles — literally swimming right alongside them — sharks resting on the bottom, and many, many other species of fish.The experience met all of our expectations. I would highly recommend Dive Oahu to anyone looking to go diving in Honolulu!

This was my first time diving in 2 years. I actually did 5 total dives with this group in one week. The ship wreck dive was one of the coolest things I have ever done! During the dive we saw some massive turtles and thousands of fish that made the ship wreck their home. The dive masters were amazing and made me feel comfortable going down to a depth that I’ve never been. My wife and I dove with both Nacho and Josh. Both were excellent guides and you can tell they love what they do! We saw a lot of turtles and tons of other fish. I will definitely come dive here again the next time I am in Oahu!

Maika was a very good and patient instructor who taught me all required safety procedures and while we were diving led us to a Moray Eel and several green sea turtles

Elf was absolutely amazing! We wanted to experience as much of Oahu as possible, so she recommended a North Shore tour that included incredible snorkeling, historic sites, delicious food trucks, and several must-see attractions. Her knowledge of the island is exceptional—not only does she know the history and the best places to visit, but she also shared fascinating insights into the local culture and the ongoing efforts to preserve Oahu's heritage.She also suggested a trolley tour of the southeast side of the island, which perfectly complemented our North Shore adventure. Together, the two tours gave us the feeling that we had truly explored the perimeter of Oahu while learning so much along the way.If you want to experience the authentic Oahu beyond the typical tourist stops, let Elf be your guide. You won't be disappointed!

My fiance and I had an amazing time! Alex was our instructor, and he was super great to work with. He was very friendly and easy to follow. He gave very well detailed instructions and made it so we were safe and comfortable, especially for it being our first times.

This was a fantastic way to introduce our teenage kids to scuba. We are certified and wanted them to experience an ocean dive after an intro in scouting. Chad and Tay were great with them. We got to do a deeper dive while they had a shallow intro then we did a family dive together. It was so awesome to see our kids, sea life and give hand signals to each other in the beautiful waters off Oahu. Thank you for this core memory experience.

I had a great experience with North Shore Surf Girls! My instructor, Lawrence, was amazing. He gave me the tips and guidance I needed to stay safe and improve my surfing. I had quite a few wipeouts and even reached a point where I wanted to end the lesson early, but Lawrence encouraged me to keep going and stay positive. Thanks to his patience and support, I was able to catch a wave by the end of the lesson. Catching that wave made the entire experience unforgettable and gave me a real sense of accomplishment.For an additional fee, they also had a photographer there to capture the experience, which was a great way to preserve the memories and celebrate the progress I made during the lesson.I highly recommend North Shore Surf Girls to anyone looking to learn how to surf or improve their skills!

I’ve completed 14 dives with Aaron’s Dive Shop during my time on Oahu, and every single one has been outstanding. The entire team is professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating memorable dive experiences.I dove with Ken, Brian, Santi, and Britt, and each guide brought something special to the day—expert knowledge, calm leadership, and a fun, welcoming attitude. Captain Garrett kept everything running smoothly on the boat, and the atmosphere onboard was relaxed, safe, and enjoyable.We visited multiple dive sites, explored several wrecks, and saw an incredible amount of marine life—turtles, schools of fish, and vibrant reef activity. Every dive felt well‑planned and unrushed, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the underwater scenery.A special shout‑out to Brittany, who was exceptionally friendly and shared great recommendations for local places to eat. scuba diving in not for the weak.. i am the weak. i lasted maybe 5 minutes in the water before i said i can't i can't , the instructors were very nice and encouraging.. and when i couldn't do it , they offered me snorkeling and i laid on the back of their boat like a dead seal lmao . i'm happy for the experience, something i can look back n laugh at myself

An early morning dive is met with the vivacious Francesca our dive instructor diva greeting us and ensuring our Nitrox levels are right on. Captain Garret met us at the dock and let us know it was perfect conditions to visit Corsair. The deep dive was awe inspiring, Francesca calmed me when the excitement of the descent turned to panic. A few deep breaths and excitement came back in time for me to see garden eels and the decaying fuselage of the corsair. As always each day of diving with Aaron’s staff brings a great time where safety is number one.
