Michael was absolutely incredible and knowledgeable and responsive to our needs and questions. He has innate ability to understand our interests and shared everything he possibly could with us. His humour was delightful and he is a true erudite, teaching us everything from language, customs, culture, geography, topography, history, food, and everything in between! I cannot recommend Michael more!! I have been sharing with everyone we meet about this tour and encouraging them all to book with him. He made our day absolutely perfect, giving us time in each sacred place, and all the time in the world to spend on eating or shopping or sightseeing, while guiding us about it all. He also cracked me open a raw macadamia nut, and taught us about the fruits and berries of the trees and plants and earth around us. I cannot wait to come back and meet with him again. If you love chocolate you’ll love this tour
After the adventure of finding the meeting place we boarded the van for the short trip to the Manoa chocolate factory. Although the factory is modest in size, the Manoa people are serious about making great chocolate products. Georgie gave us the basics and we arched a short film about Manoa origins. Then we each got a golden spoon and explored the factory while sampling warm chocolate from chocolate fountains. This is very good chocolate! This tour is interesting and fun, we felt like kids tasting chocolate and identifying scents and being treated to coconut ice cream. Well behaved children might enjoy this? Steep staircase in one area. Lovely little gift shop where you can buy some bars to take home. I’m really into chocolate and already loved Manoa chocolate for its great flavor and smooth texture, so I really enjoyed the tour.

We had an amazing experience with Mayra on both of our tours! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made every stop interesting and enjoyable. She shared so much information about the history, culture, and places we visited, which really helped us appreciate Hawaii even more.What I especially loved was that Mayra went beyond just being our tour guide. She gave us additional recommendations for things to see and do on our own, and we actually followed some of them. We even sent her pictures after completing our hike to Diamond Head! 😊You can tell that Mayra genuinely cares about the people she takes on her tours and wants them to have the best experience possible. Mayra gave my brother and me an incredible full-day tour around the island, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. She took us to all the important spots, but also showed us places that locals actually go to and some hidden gems that you would never find on your own. That made the whole experience feel much more genuine and authentic, rather than just another tourist tour.Mayra is extremely knowledgeable about the island, its history, local culture, and all the little facts and stories that make each place special. She also speaks Spanish, which made everything even easier and more enjoyable for us. On top of that, she has such a great energy, is incredibly helpful, and genuinely makes you feel like you’re exploring the island with a friend.The whole day felt like an adventure rather than just a tour. It was fun, relaxed, informative, and full of memorable moments. If you’re looking for something more private and personal, especially for a family or small group, I highly recommend Mayra. Our family of six rented three, two person kayaks. Excellent communication by email with staff . Great pricing. Helped us get all three kayaks secured to our rental car not to mention gave us all the needed equipment and more. They couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier. We paddled out to the. Kaneohe sandbar and snorkel along the reef where we saw tons of tropical fish and honu sea turtles.
