We had the best experience! We booked a semi private lesson for 3 first time young adult surfers (17-25). Same day booking was easy and accommodating. Kala was great with communication and where to meet up. Our instructor Aton made our experience fantastic! He helped us catch the waves and we were up on the first wave! Not only helpful with surfing, but with all local questions and recommendations of the island. Our favorite of all the experiences we did! Highly recommend!

So much fun!! It was my first time surfing ever and I was scared but my instructors made it very comfortable and took care of us! Our instructor was super funny and hyped us up to ride the waves. He kept us safe as well since the spot we were surfing at was kinda shallow. It was a very fun experience and felt taken care of the whole time.

This was my first time surfing ever, how can you go to Hawaii and not try to learn to surf?! I had an absolutely amazing time! We practiced few times on land before heading into the water, and i actually ended up catching 6+ waves! i felt safe the whole time and like my instructor cared to give me the best experience. WEAR EXTRA SUNSCREEN ON THE BACKS OF YOUR LEGS. Like soooo much sunscreen that your legs are white, if you sunburn easily. I had a great time but got a pretty bad burn

Hitting the waves for the first time
As we were staying at the Kaimana Beach Resort, Kai's school couldn't be more convenient, as it's just by the front lobby. Our daughter had never surfed before, and Turner had her up and flying within minutes of hitting the water. Kaimana Beach is a wonderfully safe and uncrowded stretch south of the main Waikiki tourist crush, with good beginner and intermediate waves. The camera attached to the front of the boards made for some great photos and videos to remember it all. Our daughter really appreciated Turner's patience and skill in teaching. Highly recommended!

Such a fun surf lesson! Conor was super chill, knowledgeable and easy to learn from. He explained everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable before getting in the water. We caught quite a few waves which was awesome! It was just a good time overall and we had so much fun we took a second lesson with him! 10/10 experience and I definitely recommend it if you’re thinking about trying surfing! 🌊🏄🏻‍♀️

Finding Clarity and Energy in the Ice
I tried a breathwork and ice bath session during my trip to Hawaii, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my vacation. The experience took place at Kapiolani Beach Park, which offered an incredible backdrop — sitting in an ice bath while looking out at the ocean felt surreal and calming.Our instructor, Valeria, guided the session with confidence and knowledge. She explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions, which helped me feel prepared and relaxed. We started with about 25 minutes of breathwork, and it made a huge difference once it was time to get into the ice.The ice bath itself lasted 3 minutes. It was intense, but the breathwork and the ocean view helped me stay fully present, turning it into a powerful and meaningful moment. The supportive energy of the group made the experience feel warm and welcoming, despite the cold.I left the session feeling rejuvenated, energized, and excited. Overall, I loved the experience and would absolutely come back again.
