Michael was absolutely incredible and knowledgeable and responsive to our needs and questions. He has innate ability to understand our interests and shared everything he possibly could with us. His humour was delightful and he is a true erudite, teaching us everything from language, customs, culture, geography, topography, history, food, and everything in between! I cannot recommend Michael more!! I have been sharing with everyone we meet about this tour and encouraging them all to book with him. He made our day absolutely perfect, giving us time in each sacred place, and all the time in the world to spend on eating or shopping or sightseeing, while guiding us about it all. He also cracked me open a raw macadamia nut, and taught us about the fruits and berries of the trees and plants and earth around us. I cannot wait to come back and meet with him again. Through this whole process planning our trip before entering Hawaii. Jacob has been really helpful and responsive. Bella was our tour guide and we really couldn’t have asked for a better day. The Best Way to Experience Oahu in a day!
We had an absolutely fantastic private tour of Oahu! Our driver, Giovana, picked up my husband and me at our hotel in Honolulu and made the day feel completely personalized. She tailored the tour to our interests and happily took us wherever we wanted to go.We drove along the breathtaking coastline, stopping at stunning viewpoints to take in the mountains, beaches, and incredible scenery. We enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant in Kahuku, then visited the Dole Plantation and drove past miles and miles of pineapple fields.One of the highlights was visiting the North Shore and seeing the famous Banzai Pipeline beach, home to one of the world’s most iconic surfing competitions. Giovana shared interesting local knowledge along the way and made the entire experience relaxed, enjoyable, and unforgettable.She even dropped us off at our dinner reservation right on time, making the entire day seamless from start to finish.If you’re looking for a private, flexible, and memorable way to experience Oahu, I highly recommend this tour—especially Giovana. She truly made our day on the island special!

For our 22nd wedding anniversary we came to Hawaii for the first time and wanted to learn, know and experience Oahu from a local perspective with a good service. I cannot express how much we enjoyed a full day around Oahu, seeing everything we wanted to see: Pearl Harbour, Honolulu town with Iolani Palace, Dole Plantation, Coffee Farm, North Shore, nice lunch at Turtle Bay and amazing scenery around the island. A bitter sweet experience with the sadness of war and the loss of life and to know that so many souls perished on that fateful day and that they rest beneath the memorial was really very sad .The memorial is laid out in a very dignified way.The tour started from the time we were picked up with a detailed and enlightening look back through history to the time when the pearl harbour attack started .When we arrived we visited a short movie theatre and then a briefing pre boarding the craft to the memorial.We then went through the submarines from WW2 with fascinating insights on the changing faces of the navy and how the war of the pacific was won and also modern day navy fleets and capabilities.Lui our guide shared his expert knowledge in a kind and caring way with great humility (from a veteran of service with the navy) . It really was a pleasure and the best way to understand what you are seeing .The tour then went on after lunch but sadly we had to leave at lunch time as I had double booked the day !

Awesome Guide & Tour
We booked the Pearl Harbor tour and our guide was Luis. He was awesome!!!! Very knowledgeable on history and a Navy veteran. Due to maintenance on the USS Arizona Memorial, we weren't sure we'd be able to get a boat that day but Luis was determined to try. We'd highly suggest taking this tour with Luis & Kaewe Adventures.
