Oahu Kayaking & Canoeing

We had a great time kayaking! The whole setup and rental process was really easy. Mario, who rented us our gear, was extremely helpful and kind. He was easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and gave us some great tips before we started, especially since I had never kayaked before.Mario even gave us a map showing the recommended route to the islands, which was really helpful. I would highly recommend following the route they give you. There are a lot of rocks between the shoreline and the islands, which is why they recommend staying close to the shoreline for most of the way before heading out toward the islands.We parked at the nearest beach, and the walk from there to the kayak launch point really wasn’t too bad, even with the gear.It took us about 1.5 hours to kayak out because we were going against the current and wind, but the paddle back only took about an hour. I would recommend having at least a moderate level of fitness for this activity, especially if it’s windy that day.We were lucky enough to see manta rays along the way, which was awesome! The monk seals were sunbathing when we arrived, so we weren’t able to do the trail, but it was still well worth the trip.Definitely wear LOTS of sunscreen! You’re exposed to the sun for quite a while, and it’s easy to underestimate how much sun you’re getting while you’re out on the water.Overall, we had a really fun experience and I would definitely recommend it!

Everything is included out there. Boat ride over, standup paddle board to borrow, chairs for the beach and loungers also, volleyball and other games, empty beach, catamaran in the ocean to see turtles (1 or 2). shade if you prefer, tables. All AWESOME

Great place to get away if you want to escape the crowds. Very low-key way to spend the afternoon or the day.

The Tsue Farm staff were great, it's more a family business so they treat you individually are pleasant and helpful. the dinner package was wonderful large portions and great, had to bring most of it home. The paddling along the river was wonderful, very tranquil and relaxing, got to see a turtle and beautiful scenery.

Chinamans hat was a wonderful experience. Just have to prepare to hike the island when you get there.

Our family of six rented three, two person kayaks. Excellent communication by email with staff . Great pricing. Helped us get all three kayaks secured to our rental car not to mention gave us all the needed equipment and more. They couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier. We paddled out to the. Kaneohe sandbar and snorkel along the reef where we saw tons of tropical fish and honu sea turtles.

Rental process was a breeze. Mario help load up the kayak on my vehicle and our adventure began smoothly.

Wonderful experience for my kids and me. After a quick orientation we were set loose and had a great time. The food at the end, while a bit pricey, were scrumptious!!!

It was a great adventure! For a novice kayaker. We were able to manage the trip. Would definitely tell more people to do the same as us!

Michael and the team were great! They made it super easy to pick up our kayak, and gave great instructions on where to launch and how to get to the sandbar. Highly recommend using Active Oahu for your kayak rental and guidance on where to kayak. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

Beautiful fun family atmosphere for sure!! My girls are older teens and they had a blast!! We also took advantage of the cafe there and the food was phenomenal! All the guides and assistants were very helpful and courteous!

My friends and I were looking for something fun to do last week Saturday. We came across The LineUp at Wai Kai on Cool Hawaii and booked the "Kayak, Stand Up Paddle Board & More in Ewa Beach" for four adults. Packed up our bags and headed out.It's located across of the Ho'akalei Golf Course right on the water. What a site to see! There is an ample amount of parking and it's free. There are also EV charges for all of your electric vehicle owners. Bike racks are available for you bikers, too.As soon as we walked up the entry steps, we saw the Wai Kai Wave. It looked like so much fun! We plan to come back next weekend to try it out! The confirmation email I received stated that check in would be at The Launch. I found it next to Sessions which is their retail store. Lots of cute things in there!During the check in, they checked to make sure we did our waivers prior to arrival which we did. They gave us our wristbands which has an RFID chip inside of it. This gave us access to the waterfront. The kind agent pointed us in the waterfront direction.Once we got to the dock, we were able to leave our personal belongings in cubby holes. We received a safety briefing from the team about our life vests and how to operate them. Once that was complete, we were able to jump on a watercraft and have fun. We had a blast!After our fun on the water, we headed upstairs to The LookOut for some pupus and drinks. The nachos are big enough to feed 4 people, trust me! We also ordered the poke and that was good, too! Their Saracco Moscato D'Asti wine was ono!We loved everything about our time out here! It's easy to say we'll be back!

Avenida was a fantastic stand up paddle board instructor- so much fun going up and down the canal at sunset!!

My wife and I love this experience. It was very laid-back and the shade under the tree is wonderful with the beach lounge chairs. The staff was amazing. We love taking the double canoe ride and getting the chance to paddle and also loved the tour of the fishing pond with all of the Hollywood movie scenes. I saw a bunch of bad reviews on this and almost didn’t go and we love being on the beach, seeing the beautiful mountains and enjoying seeing Chinamans hat. This was definitely an awesome time.

We had a wonderful time with all the activities. The staff are so kind and helpful. The food was good. Beautiful weather and place. We look forward to the next time.
