Oahu Kayaking & Canoeing

Mario was very knowledgeable and friendly. Getting to ocean was fun on electric bikes. Kayaking was great. It was a beautiful day.

Our family of six rented three, two person kayaks. Excellent communication by email with staff . Great pricing. Helped us get all three kayaks secured to our rental car not to mention gave us all the needed equipment and more. They couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier. We paddled out to the. Kaneohe sandbar and snorkel along the reef where we saw tons of tropical fish and honu sea turtles.

The waves were too bad g to kayak so our guide Kyle took us on a hike, fed us, then we went snorkeling and everywhere we went we went on e-bikes!! It was awesome!! He kitted everyone out that needed equipment would definitely recommend them and Kyle! Thank you!!!

Excellent experience. Kyle was our guide. He was very sensitive to our needs. He seemed knowledgeable on local history, culture species of fish, birds,etc. We really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone. We did the half day excursion.

Wengotnpicked up with a Raptor F150 at our Hotel. After a quick ride over the beautiful island of Oahu we arrived at the beach. It was very good organized and with an experienced and friendly guide. We only can recommend this organization and this trip. We even saw a seal sunbathing on the little island which was a beautiful bonus.

What an incredible turtle snorkeling adventure! The experience started seamlessly with a convenient pickup right from my hotel, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki.The tour included a fun mini ocean sports package, and from the moment we boarded, the friendly crew made everyone feel welcome. A special shoutout to Dustin—he was absolutely outstanding, bringing infectious positive energy that elevated the entire trip and kept smiles on everyone's faces.The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting with gear, guiding us in the water, and even taking fantastic photos for guests. The snacks provided were delicious and refreshing, perfect for refueling after snorkeling.We had amazing wildlife sightings: multiple green sea turtles gliding gracefully around us, plus a pod of playful dolphins that joined us along the way! Capping it all off with a breathtaking Hawaiian sunset on the return sail made it truly magical.This was hands-down one of the highlights of my Hawaii trip—highly recommend it, and I'll definitely book again next time I'm here!

Michael and the team were great! They made it super easy to pick up our kayak, and gave great instructions on where to launch and how to get to the sandbar. Highly recommend using Active Oahu for your kayak rental and guidance on where to kayak. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

We had the best time with Kyle our tour guide. He was very informative and helped us feel very comfortable. We have never ridden E-bikes & had to pull kayak behind them to get to the drop spot in Kailua.-approx a mile. It was actually very easy and fun. We also have never been on kayaks in the ocean. Surprisingly it was a lot easier than expected. It was a beautiful day & waves were calm. The waves got a little larger coming back, but as long as you cut them in half they were no problem at all. Our intent was to explore the mokes, however a baby monk seal was just born, so the mother and it were both on the island. DLNR was there to ensure nobody came close to protect them so we saw them from afar and worked our way back to Lanikai for some snorkeling. Kyle brought some water and granola bars for a snack for us. Saw beautiful fish. Sadly got stung by a jellyfish Manowar. But that could happen anywhere… When we got back to the shop Kyle treated us with his favorite island snacks which included fresh poke, seaweed, sweet white pineapple, and drinks. Would highly recommend doing this tour and would definitely come back and do it again! 10 out of 10!

I had a lot of fun with Ray he told me how to foil in one lesson I even took a kite boarding lesson after one of the best days of my life.

Josh is awesome to work with. His equipment is great and well taken care of. He matches the equipment to your needs and has many options. He is a long time Kailua local and knows the spots and conditions. Foiling was fun and he made it easy. Two way radio helmet meant no need to return to him for coaching just spend all your minutes having fun with Coaching as you to. Josh is safety focused and a very patient teacher. Highly recommend.

True professionals on the water, seamless and smooth process! This was an amazing date for my girlfriend and myself, it was so much fun and so beautiful! We were in great hands and couldn't be happier with our SUP trip!!!

Avenida was a fantastic stand up paddle board instructor- so much fun going up and down the canal at sunset!!

Did a self guided kayak trip to the mokuluasMichael worked to make our trip great. Told us where to park, when to go, how to be safe, and answered questions when we ran into him on the islet. my partner got chased onto the beach by a monk seal and Michael caught it on video and sent it to our phone. Nice guy and real professional. Highly recommend.

It was really nice to pick up the Kayak and head to the launch on our own. I wish we had planned more time. You can keep it as long as you want. Just need to return before they close. Everything we needed was provided. The staff was very helpful with current water and wind conditions. Plus other helpful tips on where to go.

Me and my three adult kids 18-24 had an amazing time! Kyle and Ethan were so accommodating with fresh pineapple when we arrived, drinks and snacks, and even Poke bowls on the island. This was a full day of adventure - ebikes were a blast, we snorkeled off Lanikai Beach and at the island. Water and views were spectacular. We saw lots of fish and turtles and even one sleeping at base of the reef right below us. We hiked along the island to Kyle's favorite place and came back exhausted after a full day. Highly recommend for active families or group of friends.
