From the first step on the bus to the last, the tour with John and John was knowledgeable, informative, humoured, friendly and accommodating to all. We loved the experience, grateful for the history and knowledge and enjoyed the day. The bus was beautifully airconed, clean and refreshing. Both John the driver was amazing and John the guide was sensational. Time frames were perfect and consideration to the weather. If you want to see it all in one day, pick these guys.

A very worthwhile visit. The Arizona memorial is very solemn and I found it emotional to take in. We had a movie to watch before we boarded the ferry to memorial and found it really informative. USS Missouri is absolutely colossal- I didn’t realise how big it would be whilst on board. Make sure you’re attired with comfy clothing and footwear, as you go up and down ladders and through tight spaces. The aviation zone is a really great photo opportunity with many planes and helicopters from the various conflict eras. Bowfin submarine is another great attraction. Onsite staff give an in depth talk on the specifics of the war, the use of the vessels, aircraft and strategic operational notes from the war. There are lots of snacks shops, restrooms and gift shops along the way. You can purchase photos that the staff take from the desk at the end of the tour. Karma Tours are a fantastic operator and our guide Arlaine took should good care of us. She was a real hoot, engaging and knowledgeable of the area. The tour bus was very comfortable and brand new, very lucky to have the use of this transport.

There were about 15 passengers, from older to young, from the main land, Australia and Singapore on our tour. At the beginning we were all strangers but throughout the 8 hr tour, Johnny, our tour guide and driver, kept us entertained with music, puns and information about the various places we visited. By the end of the tour we were all friends. Great tour experience from turtle island to Dole plantation. Highly recommend Johnny’s tour.
