We booked with Operator, Chase literally around the corner from our hotel. We were a tad skeptical, but decided to move forward because it was such a great way to see the entire Island of Oahu. Jack was our tour guide. We were BLOWN AWAY, by his passion, knowledge of anything and everything Oahu, the Hawaiian language and the culture. I especially loved his knowledge of the volcanoes, the Hawaiian God mythology, the different mountain ranges, the meaning of Hawaii prefix/suffixes, literally all of it. I learned SO MUCH! Uncle Neil was also fantastic, Being born and raised here, he contributed a lot to the tour. Chase (our sales rep) was our intro to this tour and he was fabulous! I would recommend this company and this tour and Jack to everyone I know. Amazing value for our money. Please promote Jack!! 😁😁 Give him a raise!! I hope all of your guides are like him!!

Tim was great, he even showed me a surf instructor! The trip was about 9 hours and with that he was very insightful telling us a lil history and of course the jokes were also funny.

Great Experience on out first trip to Hawaii!!
We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Tim! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the entire tour. Tim did a wonderful job sharing interesting history, stories, and local information that made the experience both fun and educational for our family. What really stood out was how attentive he was to our needs. Traveling with three boys of different ages can be challenging, but Tim was patient, flexible, and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Even my lil one who was grumpy at times. Tim went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable. We truly appreciated his positive attitude and personal touch. If you’re looking for a fantastic tour guide who genuinely cares about his guests, we highly recommend Tim. He made our Hawaii experience unforgettable!

Amazing Tour with an Even Better Guide!
One of the best tour experiences we’ve had! We were able to visit so many popular scenic spots while also discovering some amazing local gems.Our tour guide, Andrew, was AMAZING! We were a group of girls celebrating a bachelorette, and he made us feel safe, comfortable, and completely accommodated the entire time. He also made sure we had plenty of photo opportunities for our bride and the whole group, and the photos came out SO good! He even gave us helpful photography tips and tricks along the way, which was such a nice bonus.Andrew was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. You can tell he really knows the area and cares about making sure everyone has a great experience.Overall, an outstanding tour and an even better tour guide. 10/10! Would absolutely recommend, especially for groups looking for a fun and memorable way to explore!

Where to start? When Leonani first showed up for pickup, my wife and I chuckled at how young she was. To be honest we were a bit concerned. SHAME ON US! This young lady was incredible! While talking about the culture and lore of the island, she drove like a pro, would interrupt her own storytelling to point out various points of interest, and then without missing a beat… would start right back into the storytelling! She was knowledgeable about not just the history and culture but also current events. She never lost her smile, joy, or enthusiasm. Just an incredible guide! As a reference, the next day we did a tour to Pearl Harbor and Honolulu. The guide, with a different company, was our age, 50-60, and mentioned similar things that Leonani had mentioned. The difference was clear. He did not sound confident and the information he gave lacked the lore/ culture we had just experienced. In fact, due to what we had learned the previous day, we helped our group learn even more. MAHALO to Pineapple Express and especially to Leonani for destroying our preconceived expectations! STRONGLY recommend this tour!!

Andrew did amazing being our tour guide for our party of 9 (celebrating a bachelorette party)! We learned so much from him regarding the history of Oahu and photo taking skills/trends. Andrew also helped prioritize what was important to us (good food, good views, and amazing photos) to remember it all. He checked all those boxes and went above and beyond with taking our photos both digitally and via Polaroids. Thank you to Andrew and Oahu Photo Tours for helping create such a memorable experience!

Amazing! I had a great time on the tour and the guide prepared a perfect combo of sightseeing, food, and great vibes. My recommendation is to ask questions, share experiences and definitely enjoy the island as you take in all the great sights. You have to get up early, but it’s super worth it. You get to go to tourist hot spots before the rush hours and, as a result, take the best pictures. You’ll get the most intimate experiences with the nature and scenery without the crowds. I booked through Groupon and felt that the price is very fair. The entire tour runs from about 6am-ish to 2pm-ish, so you get back to Waikiki just in time for happy hour and some more free time. It’s great for literally everyone, and we had a great mix of ages in my group. As I previously stated, the tour guides are great and I really recommend asking them questions as they’re very knowledgeable of their island. Super fun time, and a great way to get to know Oahu as a whole.
