Heart wrenching and eye opening
This tour was an experience. Seeing the dramatic results of the bombing of Pearl Harbor were heart wrenching. Standing in the memorial above the Arizona took your breath away. Touring the Missouri was eye opening. Walking through the spaces men and women lived, worked, and fought in made us appreciate our armed forces that defend our rights to live free.

We had an amazing experience with Mayra on both of our tours! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made every stop interesting and enjoyable. She shared so much information about the history, culture, and places we visited, which really helped us appreciate Hawaii even more.What I especially loved was that Mayra went beyond just being our tour guide. She gave us additional recommendations for things to see and do on our own, and we actually followed some of them. We even sent her pictures after completing our hike to Diamond Head! 😊You can tell that Mayra genuinely cares about the people she takes on her tours and wants them to have the best experience possible. Mayra gave my brother and me an incredible full-day tour around the island, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. She took us to all the important spots, but also showed us places that locals actually go to and some hidden gems that you would never find on your own. That made the whole experience feel much more genuine and authentic, rather than just another tourist tour.Mayra is extremely knowledgeable about the island, its history, local culture, and all the little facts and stories that make each place special. She also speaks Spanish, which made everything even easier and more enjoyable for us. On top of that, she has such a great energy, is incredibly helpful, and genuinely makes you feel like you’re exploring the island with a friend.The whole day felt like an adventure rather than just a tour. It was fun, relaxed, informative, and full of memorable moments. If you’re looking for something more private and personal, especially for a family or small group, I highly recommend Mayra. Enjoyed each of these activities! Was given a short but valuable small walking tour for Dole and Rum. Enjoyed the opportunity of the rum tasting as well. My daughter was provided ice cream in place of it. The Mauka Warrior luau was several fun activities and a good meal before the actual show. Everyone was great and even the locals I had talked to recommend this luau over the hotel ones. The only disappointment on this was with this tour I didn’t get to select the experience level for the luau as I would preferred something other than the base.

Suzie Olsen was the BEST tour guide. My husband and I live in Ewa Beach and our son and his girlfriend were visiting us for Christmas. She picked the four of us up in nearby Kapolei, and drove us first to Makua Cave. On the drive there she told us the real history of Hawai'i and entertained us with her life experiences. She regaled us with fun and interesting facts about all of the major Hawaiian islands. Susie being a local definitely adds a deeper layer to her knowledge of Hawaiian culture as she has lived it! :) We had never been to Makua Cave and I don't think we would have found it on our own even though the entrance is right along Farrington! We also went to Pray for Sex Beach, which we never knew existed and is a beautiful, local beach with deep, white sand better than Waikiki and without the crowds. We went up as far north as we could before the road ends and saw another beautiful beach with picturesque lava rock formations that the tide rolled over like small waterfalls. My favorite stop was Mermaid Caves. We planned is so we were there at low tide, and Susie brought us a ladder so we could go down into the Mermaid Cave with the best view! I am so glad Susie was there to guide us how to get in and out, as the cave is really tight and we would not have attempted this on our own! Mermaid Cave at low tide is a magical site with the sunlight coming through the holes in the lava rock above creating colors of aqua and yellow on the water. Susie took absolute stunning pictures of me and my son in the cave from her phone and airdropped them to us. She actually took lots of pictures of us at each stop and airdropped them all to us, and I am so thankful as they are a great reminder of this special day! The sites Susie took us to are hidden gems of Oahu that even folks who have lived here for years may never have experienced or seen. Mahalo nui loa Susie!
