Wow! Our guide/driver was amazing. His name is Kimoke'o. His sense of humor and knowledge of this beautiful state of Hawaii should be an example for all guides. He had a way of making you WANT to be part of his tour. He has such a sense of ohana and you had no choice but feel you belonged; he was so amazing. He taught me so much about Hawaii and the origin of her people. I can tell he's is proud of who he is, and he represents extremely well. Our guide was amazing and the tour was emotional and breathtaking all at the same time. We visited on the 81st anniversary of the Japanese surrender on the deck of the USS Missouri. It was surreal to say the least.

Cousin Benny was great. He was entertaining us during the rides to and from Pearl Harbor, and he gave us door to door service from the tour group’s hotels in Waikīkī. He gave us the perfect amount of time to see all the sites at Pearl Harbor. NOTE: I had booked this expecting the advance reservation for USS Arizona to be included, but it was not. However, I was on the 6:30am departure time, and there were very few people at the park by the time we got there because it was so early, so we were easily able to get to the USS Arizona via the standby list. I was on the second boat out for the morning.

Enjoyed each of these activities! Was given a short but valuable small walking tour for Dole and Rum. Enjoyed the opportunity of the rum tasting as well. My daughter was provided ice cream in place of it. The Mauka Warrior luau was several fun activities and a good meal before the actual show. Everyone was great and even the locals I had talked to recommend this luau over the hotel ones. The only disappointment on this was with this tour I didn’t get to select the experience level for the luau as I would preferred something other than the base.
