Ryland was our tour guide and we honestly could not have asked for a better tour guide! He was truly one of the highlights of our first trip to Hawaii. From the moment our tour started, he made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of.He was incredibly knowledgeable about Pearl Harbor and the museum, and what stood out most to us was how genuinely willing he was to answer every question we had. No matter how many questions we asked, he did his best to answer and never made us feel rushed. He took the time to explain things and share his knowledge in a way that made the experience feel personal and meaningful.He also took us to Dole Plantation, and when we ended up finishing a little earlier than expected, he went out of his way to make an extra stop at 7-Eleven for us. It might seem like a small thing, but those little gestures really showed us how thoughtful and accommodating he was. He genuinely seemed to care about making sure our group had a great day—not just about completing the tour and getting us back.We spent six hours with him, and by the end, it honestly felt like we had spent the day with someone we were really glad we met. He was kind, patient, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and just an all-around wonderful person.We will genuinely remember this tour as one of our favorite parts of our Hawaii trip. If you're considering booking a tour, book with him—you will not regret it! Our guide was amazing and the tour was emotional and breathtaking all at the same time. We visited on the 81st anniversary of the Japanese surrender on the deck of the USS Missouri. It was surreal to say the least.

This was, hands down, one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. My husband and I did a private Pearl Harbor tour with Lui, and it exceeded every expectation. Lui wasn’t just knowledgeable — he was a walking encyclopedia, and his passion for Pearl Harbor and the island of Oahu was contagious. We learned so much history we had no idea about, and he brought it all to life in a way no book or documentary ever could.What made this tour truly special is that Lui is a submarine veteran himself. His personal insight and perspective gave the whole experience a depth and authenticity you simply can’t get otherwise. On top of that, he was warm, kind, and seemed to know everyone on the island — it felt like touring with a friend rather than a guide.We cannot recommend this tour enough. If you book a Pearl Harbor tour, do yourself a favor and request Lui specifically. You will not be disappointed!

Christine is a great driver and has a deep appreciation of the Hawai’ian culture. She is so pleasant and knowledgeable of Oahu.

The Arizona memorial and the ride through valley and mountain to scenic outlook. The view was spectacular. Our guide, Kaj , did a great job of explaining things about local culture, traditions etc. He was flexible with times and options throughout the tour and we all liked his delivery.

Before making my trip to Hawaii I decided I had to make the trip from Maui to Pearl Harbor and I am glad that I did. The trip was perfect. Our guide Jacob was extremely gracious and knowledgeable. We were met promptly at the airport just as promised. I really enjoyed the small group and their tour van was very comfortable. Seeing Pearl Harbor is very emotional. After our visit to Pearl Harbor/Missouri Battleship Jacob drove to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific which is a very serene site. We then visited the Iolani Palace and the state capitol. It helped that Jacob knew all of the history at each stop. The staff at Pearl Harbor Tours made this a very easy excursion. I was back in Maui in time for dinner with the rest of the group I was traveling with, glad that I made the decision to go. If you go I highly recommend Pearl Harbor Tours.

The guide, Baron, was prompt, accommodating, pleasant, and flexible in terms of choosing the itinerary.

The show was awesome! Cast was superb. Has the opportunity to sit in on the q&a after the show and it was most interesting. We attended the play, My Name is Asher Lev based on the book written by Chaim Potok. Very thought provoking.
