A terrific tour!!!
Can't imagine a better experience! Justin is an excellent tour guide! The tour van is his own and he keeps it in excellent condition. The tour is well organized with enough time at each of the stops to get a good experience of Hilo and the surrounding areas. He gets you as close to the volcano as you possibly can. The visit to the lava tube, the Rainbow Falls stop and the sea turtles stop are also memorable highlights.

Great way to experience Hilo
We had a great experience from beginning to end. Steve was very responsive and helpful. Our tour guide Amanda was very nice and knowledgeable. We enjoy learning about the culture. We were provided with a great meal, wich provided sample of local food. This was a nice unexpected touch. Overall, I was very pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend touring with Aloha Aina.

Awesome tour
Fabulous experience for my family. Super easy pick up from the Pride of America and off we went to the volcano national park. Our guide Jodi was amazing. We had so much fun at the park exploring the different areas. Everything about this adventure was fantastic for my family and I highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, Jodi is so engaging and knowledgeable. We had adults and teenagers and everyone enjoyed our tour. She customized to what we did and didn't want to do, timed it so we beat the crowds and buses. Highly recommend

That was one of the best experiences. Our guide Justin, was simply amazing person. His knowledge of the island was remarkable. Was no question for him difficult to answer. Jill was great. She had us laughing from the start. We stopped at Rainbow Falls to start and it was great to learn about the significance of the falls to the community. We then headed up to the Volcano National Park, it was eye opening, we hoped to see the eruption, but only steam. Jill shared a lot of info on the history of eruptions and what it meant/means for the community, great opportunity to learn. We really enjoyed walking in the lava tube. We stopped at a local chocolate store at the end and bought some home. Overall a great way to spend a day in Hilo.Thank you, Michael

Aaron is the MAN! Amazing tour and day with him. he has a NEW passenger van and takes you to all the BEST places in Hilo. Need to stop at Longs...no problem...want the best poke on the island...he takes you there also. Much better deal than NCL tours which are cattle drives, this is a personal GREAT trip. Aaron is simply the best! We had the most unbelievable day with him. He was easy to communicate with and easy to work with. He picked us up promptly and took us to the volcano first where it was erupting. It ended up raining down lava rocks and we were the only people with large umbrellas. Aaron was prepared for any and everything! His excitement and enthusiasm made an unbelievable day even better! And he’s so knowledgeable!! I couldn’t recommend him more and would definitely book another tour with him when we come back to The Big Island. Thank you Aaron!!!

We contacted several tour companies looking for a private tour. Malahini was the first we found that was very accommodating for a private small group tour. We had other plans that day and our guide adjusted the tour to meet our needs. Dan was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He made the day a great experience. Our Road to Hana tour was honestly one of the highlights of our trip 🌺A huge thank you to our guide for making the entire day feel effortless, fun, and incredibly memorable. The drive itself can be intense with all the winding roads, but we felt completely safe and well taken care of the whole time.What really stood out was how knowledgeable and engaging our guide was — sharing the history, culture, and hidden gems of Maui along the way. We never felt rushed, and every stop felt perfectly timed. From the waterfalls to the scenic overlooks, it was clear they knew exactly how to make the most of the day.We also appreciated the little details — the local tips, the storytelling, and the genuine passion for what they do. We did a private tour today with our tour guide Amanda who took us to see green sea turtles, black sand, beaches & waterfalls! This was an amazing day. We learned so much about this beautiful island and saw so many beautiful sites. We came in on a cruise ship during bad weather, missing ports, and closed attractions. Aloha Aina stayed in contact with me and made the most amazing trip out of difficult circumstances. Everyone in this business is outstanding. I highly recommend them and will definitely use again..

Great Volcanoes Tour
The tour takes you to all of the best spots in VNP. Rob showed us the sites, managed time perfectly, and educated us during the adventure. He knows so much about it that it truly enriched the experience. The vehicle is modern, comfortable, and easy to see out of. We had an excellent lunch at the lodge before returning to the pier. Lots if photos too, which I haven’t yet been able to see. But, I’m confident there are many keepers. This is a top notch experience when in Hilo.
