Amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. We got lucky and managed to book a time where seemingly no other group did, this meant we effectively got a private tour of their beautiful farm and was even given the opportunity to pick and eat a fresh dragon fruit! To our delight it was actually a rare “strawberry” cross breed (mix of red and white that looks pink inside), it was extremely refreshing and sweet!After looking at all their unique plants and given insightful knowledge on how they are grown, the troubles faced for Hawaii farmers and the way they deal with it, we were then treated to an extremely fresh and sweet tray of fruit that complemented the earthy, sweat and tart teas we had.If you enjoy scenic views, a tea lover or just want to understand local life, this is the experience for you.

Very Excellent Adventure Tour
What an excellent tour! Our guide, Garry, was so knowledgeable and interesting. So fun to explore with him. The tour picked us up at our rental house in a nice Sprinter van. We got to go onto private land which is pretty much uninhabited. They provided walking sticks, rain jackets, towels, day packs, snacks - everything was in great condition and excellent quality (ie. Patagonia jackets). It was so interesting to learn about the land and peoples who populated it originally. The hike was exactly as described - mild walking about 1-2 miles. Unfortunately, we were there the day before Hurricane Lala hit the island and the waterfalls were enormous so no swimming for us. Garry was amazed because he had been there 2 days prior and the size of the waterfalls was at least half to 3/4 of what we saw. We were disappointed to miss the swimming in the waterfalls but....that's nature for you. We had an excellent lunch afterwards. This tour is pricey but well worth it. I would definitely use Hawaii Forest & Trail again for other adventures.

Took the waterfalls and volcano tour. Absolutely wonderful. A small family owned and operated business, with tons of local knowledge and advice on things to do. After a day with them I didn't feel like a customer, I felt like family. Highly recommend for anybody wanting to see the beauty of Hawaii and learn cool history.

This tour was awesome. Our tour guide was friendly and gave our group a lot of interesting information about the plants on the farm and the alpacas were adorable. We were supplied with plenty of papaya to feed them. At the end of the tour we were given refreshing dragonfruit lemonade. There was also a gift shop with souvenirs as food and drinks such as various fruit jams and teas. I highly recommend booking this tour!

I took the Hilo Finest Waterfalls and Town tour with Hannah Kealoha Adventures while our ship, the Celebrity Solstice was in Hilo for the day, and I enjoyed it very much. It turned out I was the only one on the tour, so it was very personalized. We saw most of the places on the itinerary, and it was especially nice, since I was alone, that the places were completely uncrowded. The Farmers Market is very small during the week, and we did not go to the candy store. I needed some things that I did not want to buy on the ship, so the guides were flexible enough to take me to the local Target, where I was able to pick those things up. It was a very pleasant day and a low-key excursion. It was like touring the area with friends.

Rob gave us an awesome experience on Maui. You can tell right away he really knows the island and enjoys showing people places they probably would never find on their own. The tour felt relaxed and personal, not rushed, and he made the whole day fun while still making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe.The waterfall spots were incredible — way more unique than the typical tourist stops — and hearing some local background about the areas made it even better. He also knows great snorkel spots and gives helpful tips if you’re newer to being in the water.If you want to see a different side of Maui and have someone easygoing and knowledgeable guiding you, I’d definitely recommend booking with Rob 10-10!

Beyond Expectations
This was an amazing tour. Jason & Nicki are great! They taught us about off-grid, lava rock living. Jason is a fantastic artist with his paintings, tiki carvings, and upcycle art. Guava tea is unique and a must experience. We learned a lot walking around the property and can’t wait to visit again and see the continued vision come to life!! Thank you for the fantastic tour, friendly atmosphere, and great conversation!
