Be prepared for a long day, but it's totally worth it! You get to see a great snapshot of the island. Kawika, our tour guide, was fantastic and shared a huge amount of history and fun facts throughout the day. The stops were well placed and the volcano is a must see. If you have the chance, definitely take this tour!

What a great tour! Price was very much worth the experience! Our tour guide, Rey, was phenomenal! A lot of great information about Oahu, Waikiki, Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, and all the museums! Drive to and from the museums was entertaining and informative! Pick-up and drop off was easy, on time, comfortable, and only a 5-minute walk from our hotel! Arrival to the first tour was well on time. We visited the USS Arizona Memorial first. Rey provided perfect instructions every step of the way from what to expect at the entrance of each museum, to when to meet back with the group, and provided waters and cookies as part of the tour! We then went to the USS Bowfin Submarine exhibit and then met with the tour group for lunch! Lunch was private in a cool location inside the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum with a private seating area, and was delicious (salad, rice, BBQ pork, chicken, tofu option as well)! Buffet style meal with dessert included. Next stop was to the USS Missouri and then home. Again, all on time with no delays. Very well planned itinerary. Text messages leading up to the trip were informative as well! Great communications from the Polynesian Adventure tour company! We were able to fulfill a lifelong goal to visit the memorial and museums and this tour was a perfect way to do this! We did not have to drive ourselves or plan our times to take guided tours. The Polynesian Adventure Tour company did all the planning for us! Thank you for a great day! We won’t forget!

Rey was absolutely AMAZING!!! VERY friendly, knowledgeable, & professional. He offered LOTS of info in addition to the actual tour stops! He was very helpful with tips, as well as directions and times for when & where to be. We LOVED the text communication in regards to timing, where to meet, & bus color, #, and his name...also 'running a little early, can you meet at 7:30? ' (vs. previous day text saying 7:40). Also appreciated picts in texts of bus styles, sizes, as well as image of where to meet curbside. This full day tour was AWESOME, & I have many many photos & memories from our day!

Really amazing experience and our Tourguide, Aaron, was outstanding! His knowledge of everything from geology to astronomy to Hawaiian history was amazing and his ability to deliver in a fun and easy to understand way was fantastic. The bus ride flew by! The sunset ABOVE the clouds at the top of Mauna Kea was so beautiful and the star gazing was lovely if a bit cloudy (we couldn't use the telescope, but we did see quite a bit of constellations intermittently. They took good care of us and I highly recommend the tour. Ask for Aaron!

A great tour, but more difficult than expected.
We are seniors in our seventies. When we read the itinerary we knew it was a long day, but the activities were very attractive and it was something we felt we could do. What we didn’t realize was the amount of time needled to acclimate to the altitude, the extent of the warnings regarding altitude sickness and the height of the vehicle from the ground to the first step. Our tour guide did a good job of explaining the need for establishing good practices in order to avoid altitude issues. She was very conscientious about ensuring everyone on the truck was safe and well educated. We didn’t anticipate the difficulties that we would encounter entering and leaving the truck. That was compounded by the number of stops and experiences that required getting on and off. While everything we experienced was wonderful and as described, it was also exhausting and personally difficult. We have nothing but good things to say regarding our guide and drivers. They were professional and caring and dedicated to making this experience positive for everyone. A stronger warning and difficulty rating might have convinced us to reconsider this tour at our age.

Nice relaxing and enjoyable tour. Stefan was so knowlegable and informative of the island. I learned so much and the scenery where we stopped was so beautiful. Well worth paying for a driver so you can enjoy yourself. Also breaking tour up into specialty area is the way to go. Not rushing around trying to see whole island in one day.

We had a wonderful experience with John who led us on the road to Hana! We are a big family of 7, so having a private car made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. John provided many snacks, drinks, phone chargers and more! He was incredibly knowledgeable of the island’s history and culture.
