Raymond Georges was an excellent tour guide. Not only was he very knowledgeable of his homeland, but his love of the Islands and his family (O'hana) immersed us into his world. He arranged our tour according to what we requested, but we also trusted his judgment to take us to places he knew visitors would want to experience. We felt very safe with his driving. And we appreciated that he had local bottled water and snacks available.On Maui & Kauai we rented a vehicle since we had 2 days, but with Kona (and Hilo) I totally recommend using Hawaii Island Insider Tours instead because it was so very EASY!! We didn't have to Uber to the airport and go thru the hassle of getting a rental. Instead we just got off the tender boat (or ship in Hilo) and there he was...waiting for us with a big smile. We just hopped in his vehicle and off we went to explore Kona! It was a perfect day!

Rae was an excellent host for our 5 hour plus tour of the island. He was prompt, courteous and professional, as well as engaging and accommodating. We rode in an almost-new van, which was very comfortable, and Rae offered us drinks and snacks throughout the day. The price for the two of us was extremely reasonable. He made our trip to the island memorable and had us wanting to start asking about real-estate prices! By the time we were done, we began to feel like close friends.
