Amazing show, average food and drinks, transport takes a while due to traffix

We bought the cheapest package with transport from Waikiki.Due to bad traffic, we boarded the bus at 330pm and didn’t arrive at the Luau until around 515pm. The drive back was much faster, we left around 915pm and arrived back around 10pm.The pre dinner activities were fun. The line for the tattoos was long so we skipped that, but we got a woven headband, photos and flower bracelet.The cocktails you could use the drink vouchers on were pre mixed. We were glad in the end to only have 1 drink voucher included in our package. Although you could also use the voucher for beer and wine so maybe those would have been better.Because we were on the cheapest package, our table was one of the last ones to be allowed up to the buffet. The food was okay, nothing spectacular, and there was plenty of everything except one of the desserts had run out before we could get one.The show was phenomenal and why I’ve still rated this five stars despite the long time taken to get to the venue (not their fault but had me wishing I’d booked a Luau in Wakiki) and average food and drinks.

We had such an incredible time on our catamaran snorkeling trip! Jake and Sam truly made the experience everything we hoped it would be-and more! They were fun, personable, knowledgeable, and kept us laughing with their jokes throughout the trip! Thanks to their expertise, we were able to snorkel with sea turtles and see so many different species of beautiful tropical fish. They knew where to take us and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of on our first snorkeling trip.Jake and Sam were an absolute joy and really made this one of the highlights of our Hawaii vacation. 100% recommend this experience! Mahalo for such an unforgettable day! 🌸🤙🐠

Things Go Better With Lucas

The overall experience was excellent, mainly due to our Guide, Lucas. He was knowledgeable, interesting, humorous, funny and professional, very thorough and caring. The cultural information...

The cultural information was very informative. It wasn't just about the Hawaiian cultural but about Polynesian culture throughout the world. There were good photo opportunities. And you can support the family business also. The food is buffet. If you are looking to see the pig cooked in the ground or cooked in front of you. This is not an option. The selection is pork, chicken and fish for meats. The other items are rice, chow mein, sautéed vegetables and salad. Lastly pineapples and cake.
