Just Awesome!
John was our tour guide with Dynamic Tours on The Road to Hana tour and we had such a fun amazing day. In a world where good customer service is all but forgotten it was so refreshing for that not to be the case with John. He was so knowledgeable about Maui, its history, and about the stops we made. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and special. We cannot thank him and Dynamic tours enoufh for such a wonderful experience.

Wonderful but expect a long day!
First of all our tour guide, Philip, was terrific. He had such an amazing breadth and depth of knowledge on a variety of subjects in addition to the sights that we were seeing along the road to Hana. He, also, demonstrated patience and compassion with two passengers who ended up with nausea. Both breakfast and lunch were more than adequate and served in a timely way. When considering this trip understand two important things: one - understand that the weather on the western side of Maui can be (and is) completely different than that of the eastern coast, where Hana is located and two - plan to spend the ENTIRE day as you will spend 8-12 hours traveling, depending upon traffic and your fellow travelers choices in certain spots. Personally, we did find it a tad long, and, at times, a bit challenging for those of us who struggle to walk. Know, too, that it is no exaggeration when it states that there are 600+ hairpin turns and 59+ single lane bridges along the way! You will see lush, tropical forests, bits of quiet countryside, cascading waterfalls of various heights and sizes, a bale of threatened green sea turtles sunning themselves, ocean vistas as well as the famous black sand beach tucked in Waiʻānapanapa State Park. There's a gorgeous beach which features many black lava rock formations against which the incoming waves break and all the while learn about the vegetation and culture that makes Maui such a special place. If you choose to take this tour, you will learn and see a lot, ending your day feeling steeped in Hawaiian legend, lore and history. Mahalo to those who make this tour special for those of us fortunate enough to share the beauty of your island.

We had a wonderful experience on the Haleakala Sunrise Tour! Seeing the sunrise from the top of Haleakala was absolutely beautiful and definitely a must-do activity while visiting Maui. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The one area we would suggest improving is the drop-off process at the end of the tour. We were one of the last groups picked up in the morning, so we expected that we might be among the first dropped off afterward. Instead, the van drove right past our resort and continued north to drop off other guests before eventually bringing us back. This added close to an extra hour to an already very early and long morning. Since our resort was directly along the route, it would have made much more sense to drop us and the other nearby guests off as the van passed by, especially since everyone else was staying farther north. Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and would absolutely recommend the Haleakala sunrise experience. We just hope the company will consider organizing the return drop-offs geographically so guests aren’t spending unnecessary extra time in the van after such an early start.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great time at the Myths of Maui Luau! The entire evening was fun, entertaining, and such a great way to experience Hawaiian culture while visiting Maui. The performances were amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the food was really good with plenty to choose from. The performers were incredibly talented and kept us entertained throughout the night. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end and definitely a memorable part of our Maui trip. Highly recommend! 🌺🌴🔥

This show was fabulous! Went for my birthday and they really made it feel special for my friend and I. Many different cocktail options that were all good (from what I tried!) The buffet had many different options, ranging from traditional Hawaiian dishes to chicken tenders. The MC was a wonderful storyteller and the performers were awesome. We even got taught one of the dances. You could tell they loved what they do! Even our server was lovely and very quick at removing plates and checking if we needed drinks. When there are so many different options on island, the myths of Maui is the longest running and the best for a reason! Living from Haiku it was definitely worth the drive, so don’t shy away if you’re not staying at the Royal Lahaina.

Travis was an incredible tour guide. In addition to knowing the road and each of its attractions like the back of his hand, we learned he was a certified lifeguard when he heroically saved a drowning woman’s life at the waterfall we stopped to swim at. We’re so grateful to have had him as our tour guide, the experience wouldn’t have been the same without him! The continental breakfast and hot lunch both exceeded our expectations. We also had lots of great opportunities to purchase gifts and treats along the way. Finally, we were very appreciative of Travis’s driving, which completely minimized the discomfort of the many turns and single lane bridges on the road. This tour will always be of our favorite memories on Maui!! - Young D

The show and all the entertainers were great. The food was what you would expect from a Luau. We throughly enjoyed the evening. One note to the Sheraton Hotel, when you pay nearly $500 for the Luau you look petty collecting $20 to park.
