Top things to do in Honolulu in Summer (Updated September 2026)

Very well organized event. Food and entertainment was great!We didn’t purchase VIP tickets and still received high level of service. It didn’t take long to eat and the food was very good.

The show was fantastic & very entertaining. It was time well spent & was a fun show!

Our tour guide was excellent. He gave us historical footnotes and pointed out areas as we passed that had historical significance to Pearl Harbor.

Today, 13 September 2026, we did the Pearl Harbor tour with our driver and host, Finny, and we have to say it was a brilliant day. We are staying at the Moana Surfrider and were picked up at the Duke, just about five minutes up the road, at the tram stop just past the police station. Everything was very straightforward and well organised. Finny is very regimental, but in a good way! He gives clear and accurate instructions, so everyone knows exactly what is happening and where they need to be. Personally, that is exactly how I like it — no confusion and no wondering what happens next. What really stood out was Finny’s knowledge and passion. His talks about the history of Pearl Harbor and Hawaii were detailed, interesting and clearly came from someone who genuinely loves what he does. He also gave us lots of local knowledge about Waikiki, the hotels and Hawaii in general, which added something extra to the day. The only bit of hotel history he missed was the Moana Surfrider itself — known as the “First Lady of Waikiki”, having opened in 1901 and being one of the first hotels built in Waikiki. We can forgive him that one! 😂 If you are coming to Hawaii, Pearl Harbor is definitely a must-do, and we would highly recommend experiencing it with Finny. Oahu was beautiful. Erica was a great guide and made us feel like family. So many amazing sites and explanations of what we were seeing.

A wonderful experience seeing all the high points of Oahu! Erica provided the best time with our group and shared her knowledge of the island. Her personality and charisma really added to the experience. Not to forget, the views were astounding and inspiring!

10/10 experience. You had to be there to see it. Sight seeing, people on the boat, captain and crew were all friendly. I even got to personally meet a couple of girls and some gentleman on board.

We took our visiting family from the mainland. It was great to see them enjoy “the story” instead of just the dancing. The production team is fabulous as are the entire company. The best dancers and musicians we have ever seen on island. The food is lovely even though it went to a buffet style which I was Leary of. Still a great job.

Viewed the dole plantation and went up to the beautiful north coast town of Haleiwa. Completely different from the south of the island.

A great way to snorkel! Transportation and equipment included made it so easy to snorkel. The tour gave us plenty of time to snorkel! It was a relaxed paced and we had so much fun! We even had time to eat at the cafe before coming back.

This was a fantastic experience! Not only was the magic amazing, but Shoot (the magician) was very funny and great at Improv. All the five star reviews are definitely justified.

This is by far one of the best spots for snorkeling and it’s kids friendly while enjoying the beautiful views.

Our first trip to Hawaii and so glad we were told we should do a Luau. We did the back seat or whatever the cheaper option was and have no complaints. The drinks were delicious just like the food. We were able to get all the extras such as the flower bracelet and the leaf headband. We even went on stage for hula lessons. The performances were amazing! So much fun!

Skype and Yvonne are amazing..had a great time.. Will definitely do it again. Thank you ladies
