Cool Hawaii screwed up but the tour company made it right.
Booked with Cool Hawaii but Cool Hawaii wasnt supposed to book it for that day because the boat was in for maintenance. So we showed up and nobody was there. The tour company immediately made it right even offered to have someone come meet us and bring snorkel equipment and recommended a good snorkel spot. We ended up doing the tour a couple of days later. Eric and Lucas were great. Eric seemed to have as much fun driving the boat as we did riding on it. We saw a couple of pods of dolphins on the trip to snorkel. Captain Cook monument was a great place to snorkel water was very calm and there was alot of fish. Lucas cut up delicous pineapple for everyone. Saw some sea caves and historical sites on the return trip. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful ocean tour! Special thanks to Kristin, Connor, and the rest of our tour guide. It was my first time snorkeling, and Kristin was incredibly patient in helping me learn to breathe through my mouth—a challenge for this ballroom dancer! I’m glad I tried it. Such a fun and memorable experience! Connor did great in taking pictures, but I only had 2 poses, wish it could be more for that price.

Really fun little trip and Captain Joe was a cool ass dude. Music taste was on point also. Kept moving the boat to put us on different spots whenever he felt like the bites weren’t as good as they could have been. We had a fantastic experience at Kualoa Ranch on the guided 2-hour UTV Raptor tour.We specifically chose the guided option, and we’re very glad we did. The guided group is at the front of the pack, which meant less dust and dirt from the vehicles ahead of us. It also allowed us to sit back and enjoy the scenery instead of worrying about navigating.One thing I think is helpful for people considering this tour: this is not an off-roading experience. The UTVs travel in a single line with a maximum speed of about 15 mph. The trails have some uneven areas, but this is much more of a scenic ranch tour than an adrenaline-filled off-road excursion. For us, that was perfect.Because we weren’t driving, we could really appreciate the incredible scenery at Kualoa Ranch. The views were absolutely stunning — lush green mountains with the ocean in the background. The scenery alone made the experience worthwhile.There were plenty of stops throughout the tour to get out, see the different areas of the ranch, and take photos. Our guides were also happy to take photos for each group, which was a nice touch.The entire experience was seamless from beginning to end. We used the ranch’s pickup and drop-off service, and everything went smoothly — booking, hotel pickup, check-in, getting to our tour, and transportation back to the hotel. We never had to worry about the logistics.We brought rain jackets and a change of clothes but ended up not needing either. I’d recommend checking the weather in the few days leading up to your tour and again the day of so you can prepare appropriately. There are lockers available if you need them, although we just carried our small bag with us on the UTV.They also provide a neck/mouth covering for the UTV ride, which is helpful for protecting against dust.Overall, we really enjoyed the guided Raptor tour. If you’re looking for a scenic way to experience Kualoa Ranch without actually having to drive or deal with a more intense off-road experience, we’d definitely recommend it.
