Halloween in Hawaii (Updated 2026)

We had an absolutely wonderful time on the Kona Snorkel Tours day trip! From start to finish, it was an incredible experience. Deavon was fantastic getting us checked in and provided so much great information along with being funny! Rory, our captain, was excellent, and Jake, our tour guide and lifeguard was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. All three of them made the experience even better with the fascinating history, stories, and information they shared throughout the tour. The Snorkeling was incredible and saw many fish and a octopus 🐙 You could really tell how much they enjoy what they do and how much they care about making sure everyone has a safe, fun, and memorable time. The combination of snorkeling, beautiful scenery, and learning so much about the area made this a day we won't forget! Highly recommend Kona Snorkel Tours if you're visiting the Big Island. We had a great time. Deavon checked up in and he was great! Rory was our Captain and Jake was the lifeguard. This was easily the best thing we had done on the Island. We did both the day and night tours. I will be back with tons of friends.

The UTV group tour was a blast and such a great adventure! The admission fee was a bit high for only 2 hours but worth it knowing it all goes back into the farm and the land. And for the off road expeeince and movie set history. Our guides Johnny and Brandon were great hosts. Brandon was hilarious informative caring kind and made sure to offer at every stop to take photos and even had a dinosaur prop for effect! He also shared facts about the land and history of the mountains and the legends were so interesting! Such a beautiful breathtaking experience! And a total blast for an outdoor excursion! A must when traveling to Hawaii!! The group of 9 UTVs was perfect!

It was amazing and I throughly enjoyed learning about the history and culture. The overall atmosphere was great and the food was on point. Would definitely return again and recommend going if you are visiting Oahu!!

A fun hour out in a boat! Fun to see Waikiki from the water. We saw turtles and dolphins and ele’ele fish. The two skippers were nice and professional. The glass bottom part of the boat wasn’t used at all; everything we saw was on the surface. Didn’t matter; refreshing ocean breeze and a nice boat ride. I recommend this company. p.s. one the two skippers recommended a lunch place that turned out to be very good! Tip: we were able to find parking and easily paid for it on our phone. Used the bathroom at the nearby park but there is an onboard bathroom

Fun activity with great views and interesting movie sets. Guides were knowledgeable and made the adventure fun

Had a great time & very friendly crew that knew how to host. Get there a few minutes early. Only sit on the front of the boat if you are okay with getting wet. The view was great.

This was an amazing experience. Everything was safe. Story telling along the way & tree planting. Totally worth it.

This was truly an amazing experience. Evan and Logan were incredible guides, provided detailed history and knowledge. The kayak over was absolutely beautiful and the snorkeling was really great (even though the visibility wasn't that perfect from the previous storm). Highly recommend!The only thing I would note is that they asked about dietary restrictions of which I have a gluten intolerance, I was given a garden salad for lunch and unfortunately the fork was accidentally forgotten. I would suggest in the future sourcing a lettuce wrap (if gluten free bread / wraps are unavailable) similar to the sandwiches so its a more on par experience considered it was included in the price.

The trail was really fun, the guides were awesome! Loved planting the tree, we thought that was really awesome! So glad we could be a part of that! We would definitely recommend booking this tour!

I loved all of it. The show was fantastic!!!! If I could have given it 7 stars I would have. The customer service and the warmth of the staff to the guests really felt like family. All the dancers were fabulous, but the fire show was the best I have ever seen.

The experience at the boat ride was excellent, except when we arrived in Lahaina it was a mall parking lot, so we called customer service if we were in the right place, but they treat us like we are stupid people the way the male customer service representative answered. I asked if we were on the right place since it was a mall. I asked where the place is, we are not from this area. he answered, " will you won't be parasailing in the mall". I answered him in a cold voice "we know, we are not stupid that is why we are asking" If I could just cancel my trip that day, I would. We came from a different State, they could had been nicer or more welcoming. but maybe because of my accent, he thinks he can make fun of us. It was not a great experience with the customer service people.

What a special tour! Very informative about cacao, how chocolate is made, the history of the farm, and the local history of Lahaina. Ty was an excellent guide!
