Overview
The “MOANA” (moh-AH-nah), the Hawaiian word meaning Ocean, will be showcased in this customizable experience. From November to May, Guests can look forward to Humpback Whale watching at no additional cost. Dolphins, Sea turtles, and other sea life are also often sighted year-round. Unfortunately, sea life cannot be guaranteed on every trip! The Moana Catamaran is certified to carry 48 passengers by the U.S. CoastGuard and features ample cushioned seating, a high-quality stereo sound system, an articulating swim ladder, lounging Nets, 2 restrooms, as well as built-in coolers where customers can store any drinks they bring.

What To Expect
All aboard the Moana for our exciting afternoon sail when the Tradewinds speed things up creating a fun, wet, and wild Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride as we sail past Diamond Head and into deeper waters outside Waikiki. Don’t forget to keep a good lookout as we often spot sea life. From Manolo (flying fish) gliding just above the surface of the water, to pods of Hawaiian spinner dolphins taking turns racing alongside the boat, you truly don’t know what you might see! From November to May, there is the added possibility of spotting Humpback Whales, a once in a lifetime experience that you and your family will never forget. Sign up online today!

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Moana’s Luxury semi-private Sunset Cruise on Nalu. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the activity start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the activity start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the activity start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the activity local time (HST).
