If you are not staying in Waikiki, a free parking lot is available at 2805 Monsarrat Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815. Please park there and walk to the Queen Kapiolani Hotel for shuttle pick-up. Be on time, as the shuttle will not wait for late arrivals.After booking, please contact Kaimana Tours to confirm your pick-up location and time. International travelers without a U.S. mobile number should provide their hotel room number. We will try to reach you 24 hours before your tour; if we cannot contact you, the shuttle may not be able to operate.Please wait outside of the hotel your pick-up was assigned to. The driver has multiple stops, so you may not be the first or last pick-up of the day. Allow a 5–10 minute window for arrival, and if the driver hasn’t arrived by then, please give us a call.** Do not buy the park entrance before the tour—bring $25 per person in CASH REQUIRED.**

What To Expect

1. Easy Online Booking
Guests choose their date, enter their Waikiki pickup location, and receive an instant confirmation with all the key details for their Hanauma Bay shuttle.

2. Day-Before Reminder
The day before the tour, guests get a text reminder with optional rental items (wetsuits, flotation gear, GoPro mask, etc.) and simple instructions on what to bring, including the $25 Hanauma Bay entry fee in cash, and a reminder of 5:40 am pickup.

3. Early Morning Pickup (5:40 AM)
Our driver arrives right on time at the guest’s hotel or designated pickup point. Guests hop into a clean, comfortable shuttle--- no parking stress. Depending on the number you are on the pickup list he may be there a couple mins after that, so do not worry if he is not there exactly at 5:40 AM.

4. Quick 30-Minute Ride to Hanauma Bay
During the drive, guests receive helpful tips about the bay, snorkeling basics, and what to expect at the entrance. No food or drink is consumed inside the shuttle to keep it fresh for everyone.

5. Gear Setup & Free Snorkel Time
Guests receive their sanitized mask, snorkel, and fins, or any optional upgrades they pre-selected. We recommend trying on the flippers while you are still with the driver since he has extra sizing.

6. Smooth Arrival & Entry Guidance
We drop guests right at the entrance and guide them through the process: paying the $25 entrance fee at the ticket window and watching the mandatory 10-minute conservation video. Then it’s off to enjoy Hanauma Bay’s calm morning waters and vibrant marine life.

7. Designated Return Pickup
At the scheduled time, guests meet back at the same drop-off point. Driver will advise you what time to be ready at loading zone. Once the driver has loaded the gear and confirmed everyone is onboard, he will return to Waikiki. **Please make sure to bring back all the gears you were handed. (Subject to charge if items are missing)**

8. Stress-Free Drop-Off
Guests are dropped back at their hotel or pickup location, ending the tour relaxed, refreshed, and ready for the rest of their day in paradise.

  • Cool Rewards is a loyalty program operated by Cool Destinations. Rewards may be earned by any eligible person holding a Cool Destinations account, subject to the Cool Destinations customer Terms of Use.

Earning rewards

  • Rewards can be earned by making bookings on the Cool Destinations website. You will be able to see the value of the rewards you can earn during the booking process.
  • Earned rewards will be issued in a pending state and will move to a confirmed state 24 hours after the start time of the experience.
  • Earned rewards will be available to redeem once they are no longer in a pending state.
  • For bookings that are moved to a different travel date, the rewards will be redeemable after the amended travel date.
  • If a booking where rewards were issued is canceled, the earned rewards will not be redeemable and will be moved to a canceled state.

Redeeming rewards

  • To redeem rewards, you must be logged into your Cool Destinations account.
  • Any available rewards will be automatically applied the next time you make a booking, and their value will be deducted from your order at checkout, unless you choose not to apply them, which requires you to indicate this via the toggle switch. Bookings made using rewards are subject to the standard Cool Destinations Customer Terms of Use.
  • You will not be able to redeem only a portion of your available rewards at checkout. It is only possible to redeem all or none of your available rewards.
