Never been diving before? Check out our PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience. Introductory Divers will receive a 1-on-1 skills session, that will provide basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional, followed by a guided reef tour! Enjoy exceptional diving along Hawaii's famous reefs! You will have the opportunity to see sharks, turtles, eels, rays, octopus, starfish, crabs, Hawaiian endemic fish, dolphins, and more!

What To Expect
Embark on an unforgettable diving experience along Hawaii's famous reefs with Dive Oahu's introductory diving package! As an introductory diver, you'll receive personalized attention with a 1-on-1 skills session led by a PADI Professional. Learn basic safety guidelines and essential skills to dive under their direct supervision, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
Following your skills session, dive into the vibrant underwater world with a guided reef tour. Encounter an abundance of marine life, including sharks, turtles, eels, rays, and more, as you explore the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii's reefs.
Please note that all participants must clear a medical evaluation or provide a physician's note prior to the excursion. No refunds will be given within the cancellation period for failed medical evaluations. For additional information and the medical questionnaire, please refer to your confirmation email or contact us directly.

- Minimum age 10 years old! 10-11 year old require an additional fee.

No, you don’t need to have any previous Scuba experience, but you must be able to swim without a flotation device.
Mar 2022Participants in the DISCOVER Scuba Diving Experience in Honolulu cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the activity start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the activity start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the activity start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the activity local time (HST).
